Depending on the project, I generally end-up getting my cabinetry from a combination of ordered units and custom cabinetry by a subcontractor. In powder rooms and bathrooms, sometimes it’s easier and more economical to buy a prefabricated unit, to save cost on the sink, slab material, etc., so I usually turn to a Restoration Hardware or Signature Hardware; here are some I have used recently:

like using a subcontractor for custom pieces, especially in the kitchen, master bathroom, etc. On the new Belle Meade project, my partner and I recently walked Calvin, Heartwood Cabinets, and basically showed him what we wanted. We also provide him with all of the appliances that we chose for the kitchen, so he can factor that into his cabinetry. After our jobsite walk, he gets back to use with cabinetry shop drawings:
In field, we measure to make sure that the cabinets fall in the correct spot, taking into consideration the windows, appliances, etc. they can be updated. Then, it’s time to give to the electrician and plumber so they can use for roughing-in!
