I came across this project on a Saturday morning bike ride with my husband through our beloved neighborhood in Germantown. I had often wondered, why is there nowhere to live on the water in Nashville? In fact, we were just talking about it right before I stumbled upon this lot on the edge of Germantown and Downtown. I called the For Sale by Owner sign, and spoke with the developer of the property, Dennis Devine. Dennis is an condo developer with over 50 years of experience developing condos in Los Angeles area, and now here in Nashville. I was especially intrigued after reading his memoir about his movie star father and his childhood in Hollywood: You’re Friend and Mine, Andy Devine.

After meeting with Dennis, and speaking with him extensively these past few months, he has agreed to codevelop this property, and I am now currently wrapping-up the money raise. It is 39 luxury units sitting directly on the waterside, with parking and some amenities. I am looking forward to learning from Dennis in all of his years of experience, as my background isn’t in commercial, only luxury residential. I look forward to expanding into this market, as I believe in this development and the longer term play in Nashville.
